OUR FOCUS
Our organisation has shifted its focus on youth as the key target group in its programmes for three reasons.
- Firstly, young girls are the first ones who are directly affected by poverty and inequality.
- Secondly, the number of youth in low and middle income countries is higher than it has ever been.
- And thirdly, we believe society needs to undertake investments and innovation in educating youth and communities on human rights and citizenship education to enable future generations to respond effectively and with appropriate urgency to the human rights violations and climate emergency.
SDGs
We endorse the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contributes as much as possible to the realisation of these goals. We are particularly committed to SDG 1 No Poverty, SDG 5 Gender Equality, as well as SDG 3 Good Health and Wellbeing, SDG 4 Quality Education, SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities and SDG 11 Climate Action.
